Hematology/Oncology Fellowship Rotations

The academic year is divided into 13 blocks, 4 weeks each. Rotations are divided over the 3 years of training with a heavier clinical emphasis during the first 2 years with the 3rd year consisting mostly of research electives. Our rotations include both inpatient and outpatient hematology and medical oncology months. At the end of 3 years, fellows will meet both the ABIM and the ACGME requirements for graduation and board eligibility in both hematology and medical oncology. Rotations include inpatient hematology/oncology wards, inpatient consults, outpatient consults, bone marrow transplantation, continuity clinic, gynecology/oncology, radiation oncology, genetics, palliative care, coagulation, blood bank, hematopathology, and benign hematology.
