Mission

The primary mission of the Physical Therapy Service is to provide a consistently high quality physical therapy care to the beneficiaries of Brooke Army Medical Center. This high quality care includes the optimal access to care and treatment skill levels consistent with producing the best possible outcomes.

Vision

The patient is the focus for the existence of the profession of Physical Therapy and the patient deserves and has the right to expect optimal care. Physical Therapy is a health profession that emphasizes the evaluation of neuro-musculoskeletal disorders and the application of therapeutic exercises and physical modalities for the prevention and treatment of impairments to human motion and for the relief of pain and disability.
