Cardiology/EKG

Four weeks rotating through the above cardiology services. Students will participate in all of the functions of each of the rotations as well as didactic and management cardiology conferences. There will be opportunity to work with cardiology fellows and staff on the units, clinic, and non-invasive cardiology lab. Students learn the pathophysiologic approach to the diagnosis and management of disease of the cardiovascular system. They learn a detailed approach to the history and physical examination of the cardiovascular system. They also learn about the selection and interpretation of non-invasive and invasive cardiac diagnostic tests.
