TRICARE Open Season is the annual period when you can enroll in or change your health care coverage for the next year. In 2022, TRICARE Open Season begins Nov. 14 and ends Dec. 13. Any enrollment changes you make will go into effect on Jan. 1, 2023. Open season applies to anyone enrolled in or eligible for a TRICARE Prime option or TRICARE Select. MHS GENESIS integrates inpatient and outpatient solutions that will connect medical and dental information across the continuum of care, from point of injury to the military treatment facility. This includes garrison, operational, and en-route care, increasing efficiencies for beneficiaries and healthcare professionals. When fully deployed, MHS GENESIS will provide a single health record for service members, veterans, and their families.
