Mission
The Allergy/Immunology Clinic at Brooke Army Medical Center provides multidisciplinary diagnostic evaluations and tailored therapeutic plans for Soldiers, military families, and retirees within the Greater San Antonio metropolitan area. Areas of expertise include allergic/non-allergic rhinitis, food and drug allergy, delabeling a history of penicillin allergy, adverse vaccine reactions, asthma, insect sting reactions, atopic dermatitis, urticaria and angioedema, anaphylaxis, and immunodeficiencies. Our mission is to improve the lives of patients living with allergies by providing state-of-the-art patient care, to provide a resource for referring physicians, to teach and mentor medical students, residents and fellows alike, and to conduct research in the field of Allergy and Immunology. Initial consultation requires a referral from your primary care provider. If your allergist schedules you for skin testing, you will need to stop all antihistamines at least 4 days prior to testing. Items to bring: Valid ID card and allergy shot records (if available).
