Our patient care spans across the outpatient and inpatient spectrum, including a state-of-the-art vascular laboratory for precise diagnosis and multidisciplinary wound care for limb-threatening conditions. In addition to exemplary patient care, we provide surgical education and perform research with an emphasis on battlefield injuries, wartime scenarios, and improving outcomes in the Military Health System.

Services we provide

We provide advanced diagnostic tools and medical treatments for arterial, venous, and lymphatic conditions, all while fulfilling our responsibilities for trauma care and battlefield readiness. Our patient care extends from outpatient to inpatient settings, backed by a cutting-edge vascular laboratory for accurate diagnoses and comprehensive wound care for limb-threatening situations. Beyond delivering exceptional patient care, we are committed to surgical education and research, with a focus on enhancing outcomes within the Military Health System, particularly in the context of battlefield injuries and wartime scenarios.

Early Detection and Prevention

Vascular disease has the potential to negatively impact both life and limb. In coordination with our vascular laboratory, we diagnose and medically manage the full spectrum of vascular diseases from head to toe and provide appropriate screening and surveillance.

Surgical Interventions

Vascular surgeons are trained to perform a wide range of treatments for vascular diseases, including minimally invasive and traditional open surgery when necessary. In cases where minimally invasive methods may not be appropriate to restore blood flow or address complications, we carry out any required open surgical procedures, such as arterial bypass, aneurysm repair, carotid endarterectomy, and dialysis access creation.

Endovascular Interventions

Minimally invasive techniques are often suitable for addressing arterial blockages. Many of these procedures can be performed as an outpatient, with patients returning home the same day. We offer the latest advanced techniques including angioplasty, stenting, and atherectomy.

Vein Treatments

We offer both minimally invasive and open surgical techniques to address complications from venous disease such as deep venous thrombosis or ulceration.
