While many of our patients are seen for their pregnancies, we offer a full spectrum of well woman, obstetric, and complex gynecologic services to Active Duty and all Tricare Beneficiaries to include high risk obstetrics, advanced ultrasound imaging, infertility services, medical menstrual cycle management, urologic gynecology, gynecologic oncology and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. Beneficiaries can self-refer for contraception, well woman visits, and OB registration.

The mission of the OB/GYN department is to channel multiple product lines to provide optimal health care to all beneficiaries, and support Service-members throughout their careers and retirement as their health needs change. As the premier Women’s Health training program in the Army system, we train the future leaders of our profession how to medically care for women downrange and at home.

COVID 19 Information

COVID 19 Vaccine: Brooke Army Medical Center Department of OB/GYN would like to remind our beneficiaries that available evidence thus far suggests, the medical risks of COVID-19 infection during pregnancy exceed the risks of receiving the vaccine while pregnant. Frontline healthcare workers or household members of frontline healthcare workers should give serious consideration to receiving the vaccine. Pregnant DOD Beneficiaries are "Class IC" and are now eligible to receive the vaccine if they wish to do so. Please call our department with questions or 1-808-433-8102 to schedule a vaccine appointment. Please see this fact sheet for additional information regarding the safety of the COVID-19 vaccine during pregnancy.
