JBSA Health & Readiness Vaccines

The following is a list of pre-deployment/general health and wellness vaccination locations and hours of operation:

ON JBSA-FORT SAM HOUSTON

  • McWethy Troop Medical Clinic offers walk-in hours for active duty, permanent party service members seeking to complete pre-deployment requirements or routine health and wellness vaccines – to include COVID-19 vaccines – on the following days and times: Mondays through Fridays from 6 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Exception: On the 1st and 3rd of Thursday of each month, walk-in hours are 6 a.m. to noon.   • BAMC Infectious Disease Clinic offers vaccinations to adult patients by walk-in for routine immunizations Monday through Friday from 9:30 – 11 a.m. and 2:30-3:30 p.m. There are a limited number of vaccination appointments outside of these hours and can be booked by calling the ID Clinic Directly at 210-916-5554 or CAMO at 210-916-9900.
    The clinic will be closed the last Friday of every month from 1:00-4:30pm for readiness training.
    Alternatively, vaccine appointments can be self-booked online through the MHS Genesis Patient Portal, by searching for an in-person immunization visit, and selecting the “Army Medicine Brooke Army Infectious Disease Clinic.”
    Vaccines required for international travel are given at a counseling appointment with a BAMC Infectious Disease Travel Medicine Provider only and can be booked via self-referral to the ID Clinic.
    Pre-deployment vaccinations (ie anthrax) are not administered at this location.
  • Primary Care Clinic: All beneficiaries can make a vaccine appointment by calling CAMO at 210-916-9900.
  • Pediatric Clinic: Children ages 12 and up enrolled in the clinic may receive the immunization via walk-in or in conjunction with a booked appointment Monday – Thursday from 8 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. and from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., or Friday from 9 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.
  • Adolescent/Young Adult Medicine Clinic: Patients enrolled in the clinic may receive immunizations Monday – Thursday 8 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. and Friday 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
    The General Pediatrics and Adolescent/Young Adult Medicine Clinics are closed the first Thursday of the month after 12 p.m. for training.

ON JBSA-LACKLAND

  • Wilford Hall Immunizations Clinic offers walk-in hours Wednesdays from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. for personnel deploying, PCSing, or going TDY within 14 days; onboarding employees; Tech School graduates; and active-duty service members. For more information, call 210-292-5730.
  • Wilford Hall Immunizations Clinic also offers routine health and wellness vaccines -- such as COVID-19 vaccines -- for all beneficiaries on an appointment-only basis (same-day appointments are often available). To make an appointment, call CAMO at 210-916-9900 or the clinic at 210-292-5730.
  • Primary Care Clinic: All beneficiaries can make a vaccine appointment by calling CAMO at 210-916-9900.

ON JBSA-RANDOLPH

  • Randolph Clinic offers routine health and wellness vaccines for all beneficiaries – to include COVID-19 vaccines – on an appointment-only basis. To make an appointment, call CAMO at 210-916-9900.
  • Randolph Immunizations Clinic offers walk-in vaccine services ONLY for deployers needing readiness vaccines and for those needing a TB skin test on Mondays, Tuesday, Thursdays (no TB test on Thursdays) and Fridays from 7:30 a.m. and from 1-4 p.m. and Wednesdays from 1-4 p.m.
  • Randolph Immunizations Clinic offers routine childhood vaccines for patients who have been seen in the Pediatric Clinic for their well-child check on a SAME DAY basis; no additional appointment is needed. Without a well-child appointment, parents will have to call CAMO at 210-916-9900 to schedule an appointment for immunizations.

NOTE: Beneficiaries should bring in all immunization documentation when visiting for the first time or if immunizations were received from an outside facility.
