Health Services

Rheumatology

The Rheumatology Department of BAMC aims to provide expert consultative inpatient and outpatient healthcare services for patients suffering from a broad range of musculoskeletal, autoimmune and systemic inflammatory disorders. We aim to provide exceptional care to military beneficiaries suffering from rheumatic disease. Our ability to provide this care is facilitated by state-of-the-art health care facilities and first rate education, research and process improvement programs. This healthcare ultimately enhances the readiness of the fighting force. The Rheumatology Clinic at BAMC serves as the major training vehicle for the U.S. Air Force Rheumatology fellowship training program. Additionally, invaluable educational opportunities are provided for BAMC residents and interns and USUHS, HPSP and UTHSCSA medical students.

The BAMC Rheumatology Clinic is accessible to new patients on a referral basis.
