Walk-in Contraceptive Services

Get all your contraceptive care in one place at BAMC’s new Contraceptive Care Walk-in Clinic in the Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine Clinic at the CPT Jennifer M. Moreno Clinic.

The clinic is open Wednesdays from noon to 2 p.m.

Services Offered

  • Birth control pills, patches, vaginal rings, birth control shots, etonogestrel implants or intrauterine devices (availability may vary)
  • Education on menstrual suppression, unplanned pregnancy, personal health, and hygiene-related issues

How it Works

There are walk-in clinics available for trainee service members, Active Duty Permanent Party service members, and beneficiaries. See Flier above for specific eligibility at each walk-in clinic location. No appointment is necessary for the PINC walk-in clinics above. Contraceptive services are also offered by appointment in primary care clinics, and patients can call CAMO at 210-916-9900 or visit the MHS Genesis Patient Portal and message their primary care clinic to schedule an appointment to discuss contraception. No referral is needed for contraceptives.
