Cardiothoracic Surgery
The Cardiothoracic Surgery Service provides inpatient and outpatient specialty care to DOD eligible beneficiaries in the areas of cardiac and thoracic surgery - surgical treatment of chest, heart, or lung problems. Every individual’s situation is unique. We are here to address your concerns and provide the best experience possible. Cardiac procedures include: coronary artery bypass, heart valve repair or replacement, aortic aneurysm repair, septal wall defect repair, transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) and operative atrial fibrillation treatment (Convergent). Thoracic procedures include: lung wedge resection, lobectomy, or pneumonectomy, chest wall surgery, mediastinal mass removal, anti-reflux surgery, hiatal hernia repair, and esophageal surgery.
