Pediatric and Young Adult Subspecialty Care
Subspecialty Information
Initial evaluations by Pediatric Subspecialties are made through consultation from your Primary Care Manager (PCM). Follow up appointments can be made by calling the front desk, depending on which subspecialty is required. Appointments are typically within one month from when the consultation is initiated. Your PCM may contact the Subspecialties Clinic if there is a more urgent requirement for evaluation. Hours of operation are 0730-1630, Monday-Friday (Closed Federal Holidays).
Pediatric Hematology and Oncology
We provide care for both dependents and Active Duty Service Members with varying hematology and oncology needs including but not limited to anemias, bleeding disorders, thromboses, leukemias, lymphomas and sarcomas. We care for patients ranging from birth through age 26 routinely and can accommodate up to age 28 for oncology care. Multidisciplinary clinics include care for Sickle Cell Anemia and Long-Term Cancer Survivorship. Routine consultations are typically made by the PCM and these appointments will be booked directly through the clinic. Same day new referrals can often be accommodated if the PCM feels this is necessary. Follow-up appointments can be made by calling the 5th Floor clinic directly.
