Pathology and Area Laboratory Services - DPALS

The Department of Pathology and Area Laboratory Services (DPALS) is responsible for providing responsive, high quality laboratory testing in support of patient care. DPALS offers clinical pathology services to BAMC, the Southern Region Medical Command, and other medical treatment facilities worldwide, using qualified professionals and state of the art methods and instrumentation.

Blood Donor Center

  • Hours of Operation: 4:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. for whole blood donations (platelet and plasma donors are by appointment only)
