The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.
Our military hospital remains open and we’re continuing to provide healthcare services. Scheduled appointments and procedures are proceeding as planned, and new appointments continue to be booked. Medical Home Staff Members

Case Management

A Case Manager is a Registered Nurse who helps coordinate care across multiple settings for patients with complex needs and facilitates communication between the patient and their Medical Home.

Clinical Pharmacist

The Clinical Pharmacist provides coordination, management and education for medication related issues. This is especially important in the treatment of Diabetes, Hypertension, High Cholesterol, Asthma, and when there is a risk of unwanted medication interactions.

Nurse Educator

The Nurse Educator is a Registered Nurse who provides individual or group instruction for patients on self management activities for specific health conditions.

Medical Home Nurses

The Medical Home Nurses respond to the patients’ need for advice, and provide coordination of care between the members of the Medical Home and the patient.

Integrated Behavioral Health (IBHC)

These medical home Consultants offer short term counseling for behavioral health issues such as depression and anxiety. In addition, they offer life skills education to help patients deal with chronic issues such as obesity or insomnia.

Nutrition

Registered Dietitians provide coordinated nutrition education and support, and assist the patient to identify realistic goals and barriers to achieving success.
