Booking an Appointment with Primary Care Manager

Schedule with your primary care manager, you have two options to schedule:

Check Status or Book your Specialty Care Referral

If a specialty referral has already been requested by your PCM, our Consult Appointment Management Office will try to schedule you at one of our military facilities based on first available appointment and patient’s preference of available locations.

Follow these steps when you need to see a specialist:

  1. Request a specialty referral from your PCM.
  2. If PCM has already requested a specialty referral, call CAMO to check status and or to book available appointment. Call 210-916-9900 or 800-443-2262
  3. If your specialty referral has been Deferred out to a Civilian Network Provider:
    • Check the status of your referral utilizing the TriWest patient port https://tricare.triwest.com/en/beneficiary/ or call 1-888-874-9378.
    • If you have not been contacted by the assigned civilian network specialty care office, call the office assigned to the referral to schedule your appointment.
