BAMC offers same-day COVID vaccine appointments

By Lori Newman, BAMC Public Affairs

Brooke Army Medical Center is offering same-day COVID vaccine appointments for all Tricare beneficiaries ages 16 and up.

Beneficiaries can book their appointment 24/7 on TRICARE Online, https://www.tricareonline.com, or call the Consult Appointment Management Office (CAMO) between the hours of 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at 210-916-9900.

As a reminder, BAMC’s COVID-19 vaccination site is located in the Training Support Center on main post Fort Sam Houston, building 4110, 2536 Garden Avenue. Due to COVID safety precautions, only patients receiving a vaccine may enter the clinic, with the exception of patients under age 18, who must be accompanied by their legal guardian. Everyone is encouraged to arrive at their appointed time to ensure an efficient process.

BAMC also continues to administer the COVID vaccine to Phase 1a, 1b and 1c military and civilian personnel (DoD healthcare, national security and frontline essential personnel). Personnel who work on Fort Sam Houston and are not TRICARE beneficiaries should book appointments through their organization.

About the Vaccine
